The GT is a 5015 type connector with Reverse Bayonet Coupling. Designed originally for use by the military, however it is now the preferred connector for mass transit. As Amphenol's GT Series has created many solutions and produced numerous benefits for the Rail/Mass Transit industry, it is of no surprise that Rail/Mass Transit is GT'ss largest customer. The heavy duty GT connector is also widely used in commercial, geophysical, aerospace, ground support and shipboard applications.
